Our firm has been providing professional security guard, patrol and protective services since 1962. Based in the Bronx, New York, we are a third generation, minority- and woman-owned, family-owned and operated enterprise.

We are currently looking to add an experienced Office Administrator to our security team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will work with our senior leadership, Talent Management Team as well as various other current and new members of the family.

Location: Headquartered in South, Bronx, New York

Work Type: Full Time

Salary: $45,000 - $50.000

Experience: 2 years minimum experience in Office Administration/Reception

Expected duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Greet all guests upon arrival and ensure safe exiting;
  • Direct visitors to sign in (and out) and, effectively, coordinate their visit;
  • Assist in coordinating and managing appointments;
  • Maintain office supplies ordering and inventory levels;
  • Assist in contacting team members and clients;
  • Assist in coordinating and managing appointments;
  • Taking accurate and courteous phone messages and responding to requests by team members;
  • Professionally answer phones, coordinate communication systems, and direct calls as required;
  • Assist and direct visitors with signing in and out;
  • Maintain filing and storage systems in the office;
  • Retrieve and file documents as needed;
  • Computer data entry as needed;
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mailing and shipping;
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a neat and orderly office;
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience as Administrative Assistant/Receptionist;
  • Pleasant and welcoming personality;
  • Command of the English language, written and verbal, and ability to be clearly understood in English;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Clear speaking voice, both in person and over the phone;
  • Strong and consistent Work Ethic;
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent computer skills (ATS, Word, PowerPoint, E-Verify, background screening software, etc.);
  • Professional Appearance and Demeanor.
  • present High School Diploma or G.E.D. required;
  • confirm authorization to legally work in the United States;
  • Pass a drug test with negative results;
  • Pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, and employment and education verification, as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks, if applicable;
  • If prior military service, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offer.
